In November 2025, consumer prices in Palestine plummeted by 38.90% year-on-year, following a 17.08% decline observed in October. This represents the second consecutive month of deflation and the most significant decrease since record-keeping began in 1998. The decline was primarily attributed to the announcement of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Notably, substantial price reductions were evident across major categories, with food and non-alcoholic beverages dropping by 42.86%, transportation decreasing by 1.12%, and miscellaneous goods and services down by 2.86%. Additional declines were seen in categories such as alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and narcotics (-84.80%), clothing and footwear (-12.70%), housing and utilities (-1.81%), furnishings and household equipment (-5.82%), health (-0.29%), communication (-2.79%), recreation and culture (-3.11%), education (-1.81%), and personal care, social protection, and other miscellaneous goods and services (-2.35%). On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices decreased by 15.45% in November, showing a slowdown from the 23.04% drop in October.
